SUMMARY: Responsible for leading services for clients in addition to guiding and training movers. Drives and/or leads assigned truck or team. Assist in moves to include household and commercial locations, locally and interstate. Including packing, wrapping, boxing, inventory, loading and unloading from origin to destination. Represents the company in a professional manner and ensure a positive customer experience.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT: Office, Warehouse, Homes, Moving Truck
The majority of work will be done at customer home, office, and warehouse.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time, and lift or move up to 150 lbs. Must be able to operate a large vehicle.
TRAVEL: Required for local and out of state moves. Generally, will drive 1-3 paid hours per day. Up to 11 hours per day for interstate transport.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Follows instruction delivered by management
- Responsible for truck assigned and to transport household and/or commercial goods
- Ensuring truck is inspected daily
- Wraps furniture and other household goods and commercial goods in protective material
- Plans most efficient way to pack and load boxes, household goods, and commercial goods
- Disassembly and reassembly of furniture as required for transport
- Unload boxes and/or household/office items to destination
- Handles all items with care
- Assist or performs final walk-through from origin to destination, ensure no items are missing or damaged
- Responsible for reporting damage or missing items
- Responsible for cleaning of truck, sweeping, all trash discarded, items placed in appropriate area, notify of low or depleted inventory
- Ensure company supplies are accounted for during entire move process
- Must wear appropriate company attire and follow safety requirement
- Respect customer property, personal space, and appropriate conduct at all times
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and applicable safety regulations
- Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated success leading quality assurance programs and teams
- Communication – able to communicate clearly and concise with leads/drivers, staff, and customers
- Accuracy – able to perform work accurately and thoroughly
- Problem solving – able to use critical thinking and social skills to deal proactively with work-related challenges and solve problems
- Working under pressure – able to work in a fast-paced environment and complete assigned tasks under stressful situations
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Required
- Highschool diploma or equivalent education
- 2 plus years of moving experience
- Drivers experience with 26’ truck
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Three plus years of moving experience
- Experience leading a team or managing others
