Including packing, wrapping, boxing, inventory, loading and unloading from origin to destination. Represents the company in a professional manner and ensures a positive customer experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time, and lift or move up to 150 lbs.

Responsible, under the supervision of driver/lead, to assist in moves to include household and commercial locations. Including packing, wrapping, boxing, inventory, loading and unloading from origin to destination. Represents the company in a professional manner and ensures a positive customer experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Follows instructions delivered by driver/lead
- Wraps furniture, other household goods, and commercial goods in protective material
- Plans most efficient way to pack and load boxes, household goods, and commercial goods
- Disassembly and reassembly of furniture as required for transport
- Unload boxes and/or household/office items to the destination
- Handles all items with care
- Assist or performs final walk-through from origin to destination, ensure no items are missing or damaged
- Responsible for reporting damage or missing items
- Responsible for cleaning of truck, sweeping, all trash discarded, items placed in appropriate area, notify of low or depleted inventory
- Ensure company supplies are accounted for during entire move process
- Must wear appropriate company attire and follow safety requirements
- Respect customer property, personal space, and appropriate conduct at all times
OVERALL:
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and applicable safety regulations
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Communication – able to communicate clearly and concisely with leads/drivers, staff, and customers
- Accuracy – able to perform work accurately and thoroughly
- Problem-solving – able to use critical thinking and social skills to deal proactively with work-related challenges and solve problems
- Working under pressure – able to work in a fast-paced environment and complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Required
- Highschool diploma or equivalent education
- One plus year of moving experience
